About the winery
Although its origins date back to 1986, when the Sáenz de Santamaría family bought the Nuestra Señora de la Antigua winery in Arenzana de Abajo, their ancestors had been devoted to viticulture for more than a century. It was in 2000 that it took the name Ruconia with the opening of the new winery in Nájera. If anything characterises this house, it is that its wines are made from its vineyards in Cenicero, Uruñuela and other villages of the Najerilla valley.
