About the winery
Bodegas Valoria is one of the legendary and oldest wineries of the Rioja D.O.Ca., having been founded by the Pérez Foncea family in Fuenmayor. In its early days, the winery was geared to the local market, always committed to quality and image. It is one of the few Rioja firms able to sell so-called «old vintages» from before 1980, which receive recognition year after year from experts such as Robert Parker, who in 2011 gave 92 points to Viña Valoria from the 1968 vintage.
