About the winery
In 2007 Eduardo Poza, a young entrepreneur and lover of the Verdejo variety, began developing the ambitious project of recovering the identity of the Verdejo variety under a modern brand, «Verdeal». To this end he placed his complete faith in the Rueda designation of origin, seeking that DNA of its own, that varietal identity. Verdeal is a continuous quest to satisfy contemporary palates, with the idea of creating a brand that is stable over time and committed to the geographical area: a symbol, an identity, a Verdeal flower.
