About the winery
Now in its 4th generation, the winery was started by the current owners' great-grandfather, who began making wine in a dressed-stone cellar (19th century, now no longer in use), building stone tanks in 1920. His son Emiliano, who now gives his name to the wines and the winery, carried on with the winery and the vines. Later our father, Juan José, enlarged and modernised the winery, beginning to bottle wines in 1975. Now we, his children, run a family winery that grows its own vines and makes and bottles its own wines.
