About the winery
The Viyuela family decided to give a strong boost to its winemaking activity, which dates back to the early 19th century, by building a modern winery in the village itself, Boada de Roa. There, where their ancestors made wine the traditional way, within the prestigious framework of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. In a rural setting where all lives are humble, our family's historical references are lost in time; the land registry of Boada de Roa already lists, for decades, the same family surnames that exist today.
