Bodegas Vizcarra

◍ Burgos

About the winery

In the 1980s, José Manuel Vizcarra Aguado was one of the pioneers in planting vines when no one was yet betting on the Ribera del Duero area. In 1991, his son Juan Carlos Vizcarra followed in his father's footsteps, first making young wines and later wines for laying down. In 2007 the new facilities were opened, in which all winemaking and ageing processes are carried out by gravity, avoiding the use of pumps.
