About the winery
More than half a century ago, the Riojan winemaker Pedro Casis came to these lands beside the Camino de Santiago. Here he fell in love, put down roots and devoted his whole life to the passionate care of his vineyards and of the wines that matured in the winery vintage after vintage. His passion, work and determination culminated in the first Prieto Picudo Gran Reserva of the León D.O., which won international awards, proving that hard work in the vineyards, mastery in handling barrels and a passion for a job well done make history.
