About the winery
The idea arose from a passion for wine in 2000: a group of friends who became partners to fulfil a dream: to plant vineyards in the very heart of the Ribera del Duero, build a state-of-the-art winery and make quality wines. They were joined by the French winemaker Bertrand Erhard, who understood the project's philosophy perfectly. In 2002, 27 hectares of vineyards were planted in five different pagos, the idea being to make a wine of the land from start to finish. The vines were planted at the same time as the winery was being built.
