About the winery
Activity at the current facilities of Bodegas Quiroga de Pablo began in the mid-19th century, when wine began to be made in the underground cellar dug 8–10 metres deep. At the end of the 19th century the cellar was extended, opening it out to the lower part of the hill where the winery's most modern facilities would later be built. Winemaking continued through the 3rd and 4th generations. With the experience accumulated year after year, they chose the best vineyards and the facilities were expanded.
