About the winery
Bodegas y Viñedos Santo Domingo was created with the firm goal of making quality wines near the river Duero; the year was 1993. With the first vineyard already planted, the winery building and facilities were designed, while at the same time the vineyard area was expanded and gradually came into production. This was delayed, as frosts, hail and other mishaps held back the vineyard's fruiting until 1998, the year we made our first wine, which would later be recognised with a «Zarcillo de Plata».
