About the winery
In 1999 two siblings, Sofía and Pedro, together with their parents, Fernando and Montse, decided to start a project called Bodegas y Viñedos Valdebodega. It all began with the idea of making wines privately with the small vineyard they had, whose grapes were at that time sold to other wineries in the area and were highly regarded for their quality. That first wine, made and drunk among family and friends, pleased everyone, and they were very surprised by the result. This gave them a little push to decide, why not, to set up a small winery.
