About the winery
Winemaking in Casas de los Pinos dates back to the 17th century. Wine for the family's own consumption was made in small domestic cellars. This continued until the late 19th century, when surplus grapes led the Girón Ruíz family to found the old winery to supply Casas de los Pinos and its neighbouring hamlets.
