About the winery
Casa Patau is a small family winery located in Menàrguens in the Noguera district, between Lleida and Balaguer. It belongs to the Costers del Segre D.O., within the Artesa de Segre subzone. Since 2001 it has made wines from its own vineyards using a handcrafted process, always respecting the environment and without herbicides or chemical fertilisers. All the farming practices needed to achieve the highest-quality harvest are carried out on the vines: green pruning, hand harvesting, etc.
