About the winery
Generational handovers in small wineries rarely happen on a specific date. The transition takes place little by little as the family becomes involved in the day-to-day tasks. Isidro Fernández, the youngest of Nemesio's three children, was the one who gradually took over, first as an adviser in the vineyard, where his father always was, and little by little in all the other areas, such as winemaking and sales.
