Castell d’Age

◍ Barcelona

About the winery

The story of Castell d'Age is that of three generations of women: grandmother, mother and daughter. Its body is Catalan, its soul Swiss, and its symbol the griffin. The griffin is a mythological creature, half eagle and half lion, king of the sky and also of the earth, and the symbol of Castell d'Age. That is why ours is a story of women and gods… gods who chose to place Castell d'Age in the Alt Penedès, on the southern slope of the mysterious and sacred Montserrat mountain, in the small village of La Beguda Baixa.
