About the winery
Marquès Rigol is a small cava house in Torrelavit, in the heart of the Penedès and within the D.O. Cava, based on Carrer de la Font. Its cava bears the name Àngela Marquès Rigol and is made in a traditional, artisanal way, in small batches and with the bottles riddled on pupitres. It starts from a base must of selected grapes and the classic blend of the area: Macabeo brings aroma, Xarel·lo gives body and Parellada adds elegance. Its style is Brut Nature Reserva, with no added sugar, along with a Reserva Familiar version, and they present it as a versatile cava to go with all kinds of dishes.
