About the winery
Cava Gabarró is a cellar in Piera, in the Can Mata area, that makes cavas and wines from grapes grown in the Anoia valleys within the D.O. Cava. Its cava range centres on Anna Gabarró, in Brut Nature and Brut Nature Reserva versions, and on Gabarró Isart, a Reserva led by Xarel·lo with Macabeu and Parellada that spends 24 months on its lees. The collection is completed by the Rnéixer cavas, also Brut Nature, including a rosé, and two still wines: Gabarró Blanc, from Xarel·lo, and Gabarró Negre, from Garnacha and Syrah. The visit, by appointment and lasting an hour and a half, starts in the vineyard talking about the soil, continues through the cellar to see how cava and wine are made and ends with a guided tasting of two cavas and two wines.
