About the winery
The Soler family's beginnings in winegrowing date back to the early 17th century, in the same place where we now produce our cavas and wines. The great-great-grandfather of Martín Soler Sr. acquired the 1616 farmhouse and the current twenty hectares of vineyards, which he farmed to produce white wine; most of it was sold in bulk, in bocoys (large casks) taken to the port of Vilanova i la Geltrú for export. Later, in 1965, Martín Soler Sr. decided to make and bottle his own cava.
