About the winery
Cava El Mas Ferrer is an entirely family-run company located in the small village of Ca l'Avi, in the municipality of Subirats, the largest in the Alt Penedès district. According to known records, our winegrowing origins date back to 1863, when our great-grandfather, Miquel Ferrer i Jover, was a highly experienced winegrower. However, it was not until 1974 that the Ferrer family made the first bottles in our cellars, following the traditional or champenoise method.
