About the winery
By tradition, the Ferret family has always been linked to the land: from 1825 we have the first documents mentioning grape purchases made by our great-grandfather. In 1907 our grandfather Domingo Ferret built the first winery in the middle of the vineyards, where grapes were turned into wine to be sold in bulk, and in 1941 Ezequiel Ferret Olivella, when he was only 17, began building the cellar where what was then still called Xampany would be born, a legacy we have gladly taken up so as to pass it on to future generations.
