About the winery
Clos Mesorah is the Elvi Wines estate in Marçà, in the Montsant D.O., a winery devoted entirely to kosher wine. Among vines more than eighty years old they make their best-known wine, Clos Mesorah, a spicy red with well-integrated oak, as well as El 26 and Siblings by Mesorah, and they produce an olive oil of the same name. The house also works with vineyards in other areas, such as the Priorat, Rioja, Alella, La Mancha and Cava, which give labels like Herenza and Viña Encina. The ninety-minute visit combines a walk among old vines in the Montsant and the Priorat with a tour of their wineries and a tasting, and there is a wine bar with panoramic views.
