Celler Mas del Botó
About the winery
Mas del Botó is a wine estate in the Cortiella Valley, in the municipality of Alforja, in the Baix Camp district. The River Cortiella, which gives its name to the valley and to the abandoned village, rises on the estate itself; remains of the farmhouses and of the parish church of Santa Maria del Cortiella still survive. The farm covers more than 40 ha, 5 of them planted with vines. The Llauradó brothers, with a long winemaking tradition, revived it 30 years ago. The landscape of the Cortiella Valley is impressive, and its history no less so.
