Origins: the roots of “Cal Parató” lie in the city of Barcelona, in the Sants neighbourhood. The Elias family grew vines from the 17th century on the slopes of Montjuïc mountain and on the plains of Sants. The house had a press with which they made wine that was sold in bulk to people in the neighbourhood. The Spanish Civil War cut this tradition short.
