About the winery

Around 1200, part of the Priorat's land belonged to the Charterhouse of Escaladei and was managed by its monks, and another part belonged to the nobility, specifically the Barony of Entença, which ruled the land where the wines of Bodega Pascona are now born. In 1827 Pere Pascó i Pi was born, a doctor from Falset who bought the land in the Fontanals area. It passed to his daughter Victòria Pascó and then to her two granddaughters, Mari Pau Gombau Pascó and Guadalupe Gombau Pascó, known as “les Pascones”.
