About the winery
Celler Petit Duran is the Mestres Petit family's winery in Sant Martí de Maldà, in the Vall del Corb within the Costers del Segre D.O. The family has been producing wine and olive oil since 1895, and in 2011 resumed winemaking, now with all production organic. Its own century-old vineyards grow on clay-limestone soils above 400 metres and are harvested by hand. They yield four wines: Clarors, Mercès, Fogonussa and Not Blau. The family labels its products in Braille and is committed to accessibility. It offers winery visits with tasting, pairings with local products, blind tastings and stays at Mas Fogonussa, an old mill surrounded by vineyards.
