About the winery
Rubió de Sòls is a family-run organic vineyard and winery in Rubió de Baix, in the municipality of Foradada, in the Montsec de Rúbies valley (Lleida). It is run by Judit Sogas, winemaker and grape grower, who aims to make an estate wine that expresses the Montsec landscape, with respect for nature as the priority. The range includes two dry whites, SòlsXarel and Rubiòls; a sweet wine, FlorXarel; and a rosé made from Ull de Llebre, Sòls X. Visits are led by Judit herself: there is a guided tour of the vineyard and winery ending with a tasting in the tasting room, a workshop where you play winemaker and create your own blend, pairings with seasonal home cooking, and themed dinners on the history and palaeontology of the Montsec.
