Clos Maria
About the winery
Clos Maria is a 230-hectare wine estate in Cornudella de Montsant, within the D.O. Montsant, about 90 minutes' drive from Barcelona. It lies in the Maria Valley, a protected natural area, and is home to the historic farmhouse of the Perinet family. Of the total area, about 10 hectares are vineyards, planted with white and red varieties on the local licorella soil. The small winery, located on the estate itself, produces around 25,000 bottles per vintage. It makes Clos Maria white, Clos Maria red and Clos Maria les Gibertes, also a red, which are sold directly at the winery. The estate also has more than 10 kilometres of trails for walking or cycling.
