About the winery
Bodegas Costers del Sió S.L. is a family business located in Balaguer (Lleida), in a spot of the Ribera del Sió called Flix, a former reserve of the Counts of Urgell (798-1413). It is a winemaking project aimed at producing high-quality wines with all the nuances and flavours this riverside area offers thanks to its soils and microclimate. The winery lies within an integrated agricultural and livestock estate of 700 ha, 71 ha of which are devoted to growing vines to make exclusively the wines of Costers del Sió.
