About the winery
Pingus was born in 1995 and, practically from that vintage, became a cult wine. It is 100% Tinto Fino, from 65-70-year-old vines in three different plots: San Cristóbal, Baroso and Santa Cruz. Peter Sisseck makes it according to biodynamic principles and with an extremely high level of self-demand that can only lead to excellence. The colour is deep and the aromas balsamic and floral, intense yet elegant. Polished tannins, good acidity and a balanced structure make it a wine without any rough edges, heading straight for the list of the most coveted wines.
