Dominio Lubiano is the family project of Emilio Lubiano and Mónica Peñas in Pesquera de Duero, in the so-called golden mile of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, with roots in great-grandparents who grew grapes in Traspinedo. Their modern concrete-and-glass winery stands near the Cistercian monastery of Valbuena, partly surrounded by their vineyards, and makes wine only from its own Tempranillo, much of it from limestone soils. Its wines are Lubiano 6 Meses, Dominio Lubiano, Lubiano Edición Limitada and Caminos Blancos, the last from a single plot, all aged in French oak. It offers guided visits of the winery, or of the winery and vineyard, with a tasting of three wines and a snack, tailor-made experiences and a wine bar with wines from different regions.
