Forns Raventos
About the winery
Albert Forns Raventós was the founder of the cava house; he was the grandson of a family of winegrowers who traded in wine, according to family documents dating from 1836. In 1954 he left the wine trade to devote himself fully to winegrowing and cava making, until 1982. It was then that his daughter, Maria Rosa Forns, together with her husband Jordi Salvany, continued the family tradition of making quality cavas.
