About the winery
The Ayala family's winemaking journey goes back to the 18th century, with Cornelio de Ayala and Manuela Ruiz de Corcuera the first to settle in Briñas. It was our great-grandfather Tomás de Ayala (1853), Cornelio's grandson, who acquired a large ashlar stone house with a courtyard, granary and winery with a press and wooden vats in which to make the wine from his vineyards.
