About the winery
Our family business has its origins in the mid-19th century with our farming ancestors, who were devoted to growing vines. In 1926 Ramón Giró i Mata founded a company devoted to distilling liqueurs and making wine, which fifty years later produced our first cava, the fruit of the artisanal philosophy the company has always maintained: high quality, small runs and selection of the harvests considered excellent, with which it is possible to mature a wine or cava, enhancing and adding complexity to the aromatic characteristics of the base wine.
