About the winery
The founder of Cavas Pujol Villalonga was Joan Pujol, who in 1928 arrived in Cornellà from Hostalets de Pierola, a Penedès village where he had a vineyard. In Hostalets he worked as a farmer and sold wine, but in Cornellà he began making cava. Later, in 1984, his son joined the business and took the opportunity to improve the products: two outstanding cavas are Cava Gran Cornellà and Cava Trianon.
