La Legua
About the winery
The La Legua winery and vineyards are located on the Finca de La Legua, a family property 6 kilometres (one league) from Valladolid and from the villages of Fuensaldaña, Mucientes, Cigales and Cabezón. In 1997, after regenerating and replanting the La Legua vineyard following the guidelines of modern cultivation and traditional knowledge, we decided to build the current winery on top of the passages and tunnels of the old one, more than three hundred years old. Our commitment is to offer quality wines under the D.O. Cigales, with character and a personality of their own.
