La Viña del Loco
About the winery
It is a small artisanal winery located in the Burgos municipality of Roa (D.O. Ribera del Duero), devoted to making and ageing high-quality wines from very old vineyards in the area, between 40 and 90 years old, farmed sustainably and organically. The promoters of this project, José Carlos García and Víctor Rodríguez, with long careers in the world of wine, are also the owners of the company Miravinos, which produces and sells wines in five other Spanish designations of origin (Rioja, Rías Baixas, Rueda, Cariñena and Tierra de Castilla).
