Llagar Alonso is a natural cider house in Ciañu, in the municipality of Langreo, producing traditional cider as well as cider under the D.O.P. Sidra de Asturias. Its story begins in 1939, when Jacinto Alonso Díaz, known as El Pecau, founded the original cider house in Nava; it closed during the economic crisis of the 1970s and reopened in the 1990s thanks to his son Carlos Alonso. Since 2003 it has been run by M. Camblor González and her son Javier Díaz, and in 2014 it moved to new premises in Ciañu while keeping its artisanal methods. They make unfiltered natural cider from Asturian apples, fermented in casks. It has a bar and shop, and hosts espichas for groups with local produce, cider tasted straight from the casks and a short explanation of how it is made.
