Llagar la Morena
About the winery
Llagar la Morena is one of those with the longest documented existence. Since the mid-19th century, the family known as «casa La Morena» carried out livestock and farming activities here, made cider and ran a bar and a tobacconist's. At the beginning of the 20th century a building was constructed, the foundation of the current one, which for a time was used to host ballroom dances with barrel-organ music. Later the premises became a cider house, called «Llagar Nuevo» to distinguish it from the previous one, or «Llagar Viejo».
