About the winery
According to a document written in Latin dated 7 January 1385, Bernat Llopart (or Bernardus Leopardi) was granted some vineyards located on what is now the Heretat de Can Llopart in Subirats. It is the first reference to the link between the Llopart family of the Penedès and viticulture, a relationship that has continued uninterrupted to this day. For centuries the Llopart family combined the cultivation of the traditional Mediterranean crops: vines, wheat and olives.
