About the winery
The winery where Gaston Coty makes his wines was built in 1906; it is the oldest in the town centre of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the Capital of Cava. It has traditional facilities covering 1,286 m², of which 928 m² are underground, with vaulted ceilings in several cellars. This construction is essential to achieve – naturally – a stable temperature of between 18 and 20 degrees, total semi-darkness and the absence of noise and vibration; factors that are indispensable for ageing quality cava wines.
