About the winery

Vallformosa is a cava and wine house in Vilobí del Penedès, in the Alt Penedès, whose story begins in 1865 with the first vines planted next to the La Sala farmhouse, where it is still based. It has no vineyards of its own: it works hand in hand with more than 400 grape-growing families in the Penedès, advised by its technical team, and has a vineyard area at around 500 metres above sea level. It makes sparkling wines under the Vallformosa, Mistinguett and Gran Barón brands, still wines under Cultivare and Freyé, and also Vallformosa Spritz, ready-to-serve cocktails based on sparkling wine and fruit. Its entire range is suitable for vegans and in 2024 it became the first Spanish winery to obtain B Corp certification.
