Mata i Coloma
About the winery
Mata i Coloma is a cellar in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, in the Penedès, that releases its cavas under the Pere Mata label within the D.O. Cava. It was founded in 1999 to carry on the legacy of the ancestors who worked this land and planted vines, and today it looks after the whole process, from its own vineyards to the glass, with respect for traditional cava making. They work with native Penedès varieties and describe their cavas as signature wines. The range includes the Brut Reserva, La Cupada, a fresh and simple blend of Parellada, Macabeu and Xarel·lo, the Cupada Rosé, L'Ensamblatge, the Reserva Família, the Cuvée Barcelona, inspired by the city, and the Cupada de Nadal for the festive season.
