About the winery
Mayor de Migueloa is a house in Laguardia, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa and within the D.O.Ca. Rioja, that brings together a winery, restaurant and hotel in the town's historic centre. The winery uses traditional methods in century-old spaces that have been gradually restored, and invites visitors to discover the history of Laguardia through its wine. Its wines include Juliett Golf, in white and rosé, G de Jaime, the Colección Damajuanas and El Foehn, which includes an old-vine version. Visits tour the winery and end with a tasting of five wines, which can be paired with Idiazabal cheese, Iberian ham or a Rioja-style or chuletón steak menu in its restaurant, which specialises in grilled meats.
