By a whim of geography, the Monte Alto estate sits on land belonging to the two municipalities with the greatest international renown in the Ribera del Duero D.O.: Valbuena de Duero and Pesquera de Duero. In the same place, and physically straddling both territories, stands the winery and spread the vineyards of Montebaco. The Monte Alto estate is one of the historic estates of the province of Valladolid.
