LaOsa is Noelia de Paz's personal project in Ardón, in the south-west of the province of León, within the D.O. León. Noelia started out in 2005 handling sales at her family's winery, gradually got involved in the vineyard and the winemaking, and in 2015 launched her own label. In 2019 she took over a traditional winery dug into the ground, one of the village's typical caves with more than a century of history. She works mainly with Albarín and Prieto Picudo on clay-limestone soils at around 800 metres, with wines such as Trasto, Finca del Barranco, Grizzly and La Voz del Viñador, and names many of them after bears. Outside León she also makes an Albariño, Polar, and a Mencía from Bierzo, El Mismo, together with Rodrigo Méndez and Raúl Pérez.
