About the winery
Founded in 2014 in the Ourense village of Seadur, O Luar do Sil is the Galician project of the Rodero Villa family. Their determination and passion have been the driving force behind this new venture. For a long time we had dreamed of making a white wine with our philosophy: we were looking for a special, complex and intense wine with long ageing potential. This search for authenticity led us to the Galician designation of origin of Valdeorras. It is a small, traditional wine-growing area with a very rare treasure, the native Godello variety.
