About the winery
Pinna Fidelis is a winery in Peñafiel, right in the heart of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, and its very name is a nod to the town where it was born. It was founded in 2001 by a group of people who loved this land and wanted to carry on a winegrowing tradition handed down from parents to children. It works with grapes from its own vineyards and its whole range is 100% Tinta del País: a Roble with a few months in French and American oak, a Crianza, a Reserva and a Gran Reserva, the latter aged longer in French oak, plus magnum formats. Its philosophy rests on simplicity and on a team that has been with it since the beginning. It offers a guided tour of the winery followed by a guided, food-paired tasting of three of its oak-aged wines.
