About the winery
Quinta Mazuela is the winery of Silvia Tomé, an oenologist trained in Burgundy. After completing her degree in oenology, she worked for one of the great French winemakers, Bernard Magrez, at Château Fombrauge (Saint-Émilion), Château La Tour Carnet (Médoc), La Passion d’Une Vie and Si Mon Père Savait (Côtes du Roussillon). Back in Spain, she began a project for the same winemaker in the Toro D.O. and another in the Priorat D.O.C. All of this gave her a high degree of experience in high-quality winemaking. In 2004 she accepted a position in the D.O.P.
