Quinta Sardonia
About the winery
Quinta Sardonia is a wine estate in Sardón de Duero, about 22 kilometres from Valladolid, just outside the boundaries of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, so its wines are released as Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León. It belongs to the Terras Gauda group and farms its vineyard biodynamically, paying attention to how the vine behaves on each type of soil on the estate. Its main wine, Quinta Sardonia, is based on Tempranillo with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, and it is joined by Sardón and QS2. It offers guided visits of the vineyard and winery, in Spanish and English, which end with a tasting of Sardón and QS2.
