V.T. Castilla Y Leon

The V.T. Castilla y León is a broad regional designation that brings together 11 wineries you can visit spread across provinces such as Burgos, Valladolid, Zamora and Ávila. The extreme continental climate of the plateau, with harsh winters and dry summers, gives wines of marked character. Tempranillo dominates, known here as Tinta del País, alongside whites such as Verdejo, yielding aged reds and fresh, fruity whites. A mosaic of moorland and riverbank landscapes whose wines pair superbly with roast lechazo lamb and Castilian cheeses.
